Trust pages to publish before your first ad
Publish the three legal pages your store comes with, then carry the rest on the Profile tabs your plan does not gate.
Launch basics
An Egyptian shopper about to pay 600 EGP at the door is asking one quiet question: is anyone real on the other side of this page? They look for a face, a phone number, and a rule for when the item is wrong.
Trust pages answer that, and most of what you need is already in your admin. Publish them before you spend a pound on ads.
Three pages arrive with your store
Every Storix store is created with three legal pages — Privacy policy, Terms of service and Refund policy — in Design → Custom pages. You cannot delete them.
They arrive with starter text, and starter text is not published. A legal page goes public only after you replace that text with your own words, fill in both Arabic and English, and press Mark reviewed and publish. Until then the row shows why it is hidden: Starter text, Incomplete or Not reviewed, and the Legal pages card tells you whether you are Ready for launch or still Need review.
One link trap: the admin Slug column shows /pages/ and your slug, but the storefront opens it at /store/page/ and the slug. Copy the wrong one into a WhatsApp broadcast and you send a dead link.
The other pages depend on your plan
About, Contact and Shipping pages are custom pages, and your plan decides how many: Starter 5, Growth 15, Pro 50.
The three legal pages do not count toward that limit, so you can always publish a real Refund policy, real Terms and a real Privacy page, no matter how many custom pages you have used.
What to do when you have no custom pages
You do not need a page to answer "who are you and how do I reach you". Open Design → Profile.
- Contact on storefront turns on Show email addresses, Show phone numbers and Show location / address, one per line, up to twenty lines each.
- Social links holds Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Snapchat. Write each link in full, starting with
https://.
Both save into your live theme and show in the storefront footer. Publish any Storefront Studio draft first, because saving these tabs removes an unpublished draft.
One warning before you promise a reply: the contact form lands in Design → Contact messages, and that screen has no reply button. You answer from the email or phone on the message. Decide who checks it daily, or do not advertise the form.
Use Search visibility instead of an About page
Still in Design → Profile, the Search visibility tab publishes what a search engine wants: whether you are an Online store or a Store with a pickup point or physical location, your public street, city and governorate, your opening hours, and Show return policy in search results with a Return window of 1 to 365 days.
It costs nothing, and the street, city and governorate you save here also count as your pickup address and registered business address.
Say something true about data
Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law, Law 151 of 2020, changed what shoppers expect. Write a short, honest privacy page: what you collect (name, phone, address), why, and that you do not sell it.
A signed-in customer can also ask you to erase their data. The request appears in Access & Security → Data access requests, the store owner approves or denies it, and an approved request waits 14 days by default before a daily job anonymises the data.

An FAQ answers the questions that cost you sales
Design → FAQ groups questions into sections, in Arabic and English, and publishes at /store/faq. A new section starts Not published, so tick Published or nobody sees it. Answer the three questions buyers actually send: which governorates you deliver to and in how many days, how they can pay and whether cash on delivery costs extra, and who pays return shipping.
