Logistics Guide
The complete guide to shipping across all Egyptian governorates
How to set up zone-based delivery fees, partner with top Egyptian courier companies, and ensure fast delivery from Alexandria to Aswan.
Start your store
Categorize the 27 governorates into clear delivery zones
Shipping rates in Egypt naturally split into four main tiers: Greater Cairo & Giza, Alexandria & Delta governorates, Canal cities, and Upper Egypt / Frontier governorates. Structuring your shipping zones correctly prevents your store from absorbing unexpected courier charges.
Connect multiple couriers for optimal regional coverage
No single courier excels in every single governorate. Combining Bosta, ShipBlu, and Mylerz inside Storix gives your store flexibility to route shipments to the fastest and most cost-effective carrier for each region.
Realistic delivery expectations that build customer loyalty
Shoppers in Upper Egypt understand that shipping takes 3-4 days rather than next-day. Setting honest, accurate delivery time estimates at checkout builds credibility and prevents order cancellations.
Key recommendations for nationwide shipping
- Create 4-5 geographic shipping zones with tailored fees.
- Offer free shipping thresholds to encourage larger order values.
- Automate waybill generation to dispatch parcels within 24 hours.
